An original and iconic Rubik’s Cube, covered in trimmed British postage stamps (six different colours to correspond with the six faces), with a delivery address written across the cube. The photograph above shows the Rubik’s Cube before it was jumbled.
It was a problem trying to find a postbox that would accommodate this – but I persevered, and sure enough, managed to find one.
This is a more conceptual piece of postal art – the majority of what I exchange through the post is illustrative, but instead this item of mail presented a challenge to the employees of the Royal Mail. To my surprise, they solved it enough through trial and error to narrow down the address to two possibilities – number 47 or 74 Manston Road. Furthermore, it only took the sorters 24 hours.
