Graphite pencil over a contoured map of the Lake District National Park, UK. Lake Windermere is the large body of water cutting through the composition.
This was the first contoured portrait I produced, experimenting with pointillism and a distance/perception relationship by varying the weight of each line of elevation.
32″ x 32″ approx.
